Take part in a lottery or gamble in the casino? Wouldn’t such caution be particularly appropriate if not only your money is at stake, but your health, your life? And last but not least, the well-being and future of your children, whom you also want to get vaccinated as soon as possible?
To be able to weigh the benefits and risks of a medical intervention against each other, the legislature prescribes that you must be informed beforehand. Not just partially, but completely. Only then can you “give informed consent.” Without such consent, the injection would be a criminal offense.
Has such an explanation taken place with you?
If so, it should have lasted longer than a few minutes, followed by an offer to think about it. Because you need to get answers at least to the following questions:
- How dangerous is this corona pandemic really, also compared to the seasonal flu?
- How high is your risk, depending on, among other things, your age and your physical condition? After all, you are not an older woman with multiple illnesses, immunocompromised in the nursing home, but a reasonably fit woman in her best years.
- Are there any alternatives to vaccination that you could use to protect yourself?
- Are you possibly already protected?
- What does it mean that the vaccine has not yet been regularly approved?
- What do we know so far about how effective it actually is? How big is the risk that a person who has been vaccinated will nevertheless become infected, infect others, become seriously ill with Covid-19, or die from it?
- What type of vaccine is it? What’s in the serum?
- How long does the vaccination last?
- How common and how severe are side effects?
- And last but not least: How trustworthy are the manufacturers whose data regulatory authorities, governments, and the media rely on?
Dearest ex-girlfriend, I doubt that you were truthfully and comprehensively clarified even on one single point before you had the syringe stuck in your arm.
Or do you think that such an explanation was redundant because you already know the correct answers?
But from where?
I do not doubt that you informed yourself about Corona in detail from the beginning, on television, in the press, on the Internet. And from everything you found there, you drew completely logical conclusions.
There is just one thing you didn’t consider: your sources of knowledge could be poisoned. You trust them, especially since they mutually confirm: the spokesman for the news program, the editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper, the invited guests of the TV talk show, your preferred online news portal. You don’t expect them to systematically withhold from you what you need to know to be able to judge and decide in a really informed manner.
We both know from history: It is possible to deceive an entire people with mass propaganda and censorship – including journalists, members of parliament, judges, heads of authorities, police officers, teachers, employers.
However, it seems inconceivable to you that this story could repeat itself right now.
Not me. Every crisis has winners; it has always been the case, even in world wars. Hundreds of billions of euros can be earned from a pandemic. Some managers and investors walk over dead bodies for this. A pandemic opens up great opportunities for more social control – totalitarian regimes seize it, others are tempted to approach them.
I began to rethink as soon as I began to draw from sources of information that the mainstream media withheld. I would be happy to summarize what I came across in a longer letter – provided that our relationship is still worth so much to you that you can take the time for it.
