Does AI Understand the Pandemic?

by Dr.Harald Wiesendanger– Klartext

ChatGPT is taking the world by storm. The example of the corona pandemic shows how easily such a supposed superintelligence can be misused for propaganda purposes.

On April 15, 2023, I urged ChatGPT to edit the following opinion piece:

“At the official end of a so-called pandemic, the balance sheet is devastating. For anyone who cares to watch, the years since 2020 have made it clear that all it takes to lock up the entire population of a Western country is a viral pathogen raging no worse than a moderately severe influenza outbreak. With the right media campaign, the state can close schools, paralyze a large part of the economy, freeze social life; it can have millions of people strapped into masks that are unsafe for their health without proven protective effects, subjected to useless tests and kept at a distance, while the pathogen can be carried in aerosols up to 30 meters; he can force them to take dangerous and ineffective drugs. He can monitor anyone’s contacts. He can prevent people from meeting, gathering, demonstrating, entering shops, demonstrating, and going out – all with the support of a large majority of the electorate. Critics, refusers, and self-thinkers are marginalized and mocked, pathologized and criminalized. Protection of the Constitution, democratic freedoms, fundamental rights – all of that is suddenly worthless. A sufficiently frightening virus: that’s enough to override in a flash.”

ChatGPT then lectures me: “Most governments have listened to the advice of experts and scientists” – which ones? -“to contain the virus and slow its spread. (…) The virus was a serious threat and required action to slow its spread. (…) Government’s decisions have often been difficult and controversial, but they have usually been made based on scientific advice.” In earnest?

Next, I present ChatGPT with a summary of the COVID-19 pandemic, full of findings that cut across the official narrative but are backed up by a plethora of suppressed studies whose conclusions are only just beginning to make their way into public discourse. “Check and improve the following text,” I ask the AI.

After three years of the Corona crisis, it is important to note:

1. Covid-19 is no more deadly than the mild flu outbreaks of 1936, 1957, and 1968. In the general population – excluding nursing home residents – at least 99.5% survive a SARS-CoV-2 infection. The average age of the “Corona dead” in most Western countries is over 80 years, so it remains within the usual life expectancy. Statistics on Covid deaths are artificially inflated because (1) countries around the world have defined them as caused “by any cause within 28/30/60 days of a positive test”; because (2.) serious comorbidities were ignored: around 95% of the “Covid victims” have at least one serious comorbidity – such as cancer, heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes – more than 50% have three or more. Significant excess mortality did not occur in the first corona year of 2020, when humankind was allegedly “at the mercy of the virus” because there was still no vaccine, but only after the start of the vaccination campaign.

2.A real state of emergency that would have required draconian government measures never existed during the three years of the so-called corona pandemic; in particular, there was no “overburdening of the health system.”

3.The scientific basis of PCR tests is questionable. Their peer review was completed in less than 24 hours; a detailed criticism from more than 40 bioscientists, who pointed out ten serious mistakes in the PCR methodology, was ignored. PCR tests are not suitable for diagnosing diseases. They provide a large number of false-positive results. The CT values or “cycle thresholds” used to identify a “case” were set far too high. This artificially inflated the number of cases.

4.The vast majority of Covid infections are asymptomatic. It is extremely unlikely that people without symptoms will infect others.

5.Largely ineffective “protective measures” were imposed on the population. Lockdowns have hardly limited the number of “Covid deaths” anywhere but have wreaked havoc on the global economy, society, and health. Masks do not work in everyday life; they are rather harmful to health. “Social distancing” – 1.5 to 2 meters safety distance, a limited number of people – is nonsense since SARS-CoV-2 viruses mainly spread indoors via aerosols, which can spread 30 meters and more. Contact tracing and vaccination certificates also had no influence on the infection rate.

6.The so-called Covid “vaccines” are wrongly called that because they do not provide lasting immunity, as opposed to recovering from an infection. They do not prevent contagion or transmission. They do not reliably protect against serious illnesses, hospitalizations, and death, but they can have serious, sometimes irreversible, side effects. The pivotal studies were flawed. Despite an underreporting of over 95%, reporting systems such as the American VAERS signal that the new mRNA vaccines are by far the most dangerous of all time. Only after they were used worldwide did significant excess mortality develop. They probably killed more people than they saved.

7.Treatment options other than artificial respiration and antivirals were suppressed, despite promising practical successes – including an early combination of ivermectin, HCQ, quercetin, vitamin D, and zinc with other proven drugs and dietary supplements.

8.Governments, health officials, experts, and journalists have unnecessarily frightened the population with fake news about the true extent of the corona threat.

9.During the Corona crisis, parliaments, mass media, judges, and public prosecutors failed in their control functions.

10.This pandemic only existed because the WHO changed the definition in 2009. Until then, serious illness and death were among the key criteria. Since then, a worldwide wave of infections has been enough. This is medically absurd because now every cold pathogen can be declared a “pandemic.”

11.According to the World Bank, lockdowns led to a “historically unique increase” in poverty by a hundred million people. In addition to pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, BioNTech, and Moderna, the super-rich also benefited from the corona crisis. According to Forbes, it spawned 40 new billionaires. As Business Insider reports, the net worth of billionaires increased by half a trillion dollars through October 2020 alone.

12.Genetic peculiarities point to a laboratory origin of SARS-CoV-2. To date, there is no evidence of natural evolution with zoonosis.”

As expected, ChatGPT instructs me: “The text has a number of linguistic, stylistic, and content-related deficiencies that require revision.” I am asked to “refer to serious studies and experts.” Because “most of these claims are not scientifically founded or have been refuted,” the chatbot teaches me. “The scientific basis of PCR testing is robust and has been extensively tested and validated. The PCR tests are an important part of diagnosing diseases, including COVID-19. The CT values are set by experts based on the characteristics of the virus and the test and are necessary to interpret the results. There is no evidence that asymptomatic individuals cannot infect others. Protective measures such as lockdowns, masks, social distancing, and contact tracing have helped slow the spread of COVID-19. The COVID-19 vaccines have proven to be safe and effective and have already helped reduce the spread of the virus and save lives. Claims that alternative treatments have been suppressed or that the pandemic was artificially created by changing the WHO definition are also unfounded. There is no evidence that SARS-CoV-2 was created in the laboratory. It is important to get information from trusted sources and not to rely on false or misleading claims.”

Such “trustworthy” well-founded omissions, far removed from the current scientific findings, suggest that Klaus Schwab must have somehow managed to connect ChatGPT to Karl Lauterbach’s cerebral cortex with transhumanistic sophistication.
